That's what MSOE's AI Club (MAIC) proved over four years — growing to 500+ members and partnerships with NVIDIA, Direct Supply, and others with no playbook, no template, and no parent organization. ALL exists to package that model so any university can deploy it.

We ran a club before we built any of this. Everything here started as a spreadsheet somebody hated.
Nobody keeps their résumé current in October of junior year. So we build a profile from your LinkedIn and GitHub and keep it fresh, and that’s what a sponsor sees when they come looking. You can turn sponsor visibility off whenever you want.
Name it, connect GitHub, pick two colors. You get a real site that redeploys every time someone pushes — and nobody has to hunt down whoever set up the WordPress in 2021.
Create the event, then email your sponsors an invite. They say what they’re bringing — money, cloud credits, mentor hours, or a real problem for students to work on — and it shows up on the event page with their name on it.
One code at the door. Members scan on the way in, first-timers make an account once, and attendance is done before the pizza gets there.
A student should not be floating $400 for pizza and waiting three weeks to get it back. When a sponsor funds an event, an officer gets a virtual card scoped to that event, and the charges land against it.
Officers see teams, submissions and who’s coming. Sponsors get a read-only link instead of a seventh reply-all.
