The problem
AI agents apply on students’ behalf now, so a posting that drew 116 applications in 2022 draws 244. They all read alike, and neither the recruiter nor the screening software can tell one from the next. What gets you pulled out of the pile is proof you built something real, and people who watched you do it.

Join a mentored team in week five. Five to eight of you with an upperclassman mentor, three to five hours a week. Research groups run on the ROSIE supercomputer: 21 groups and 142 students in 2024.
