Why we exist

AI changed hiring.
We show what a resume can’t.

The best applied-AI hiring no longer runs through resumes. It runs through work people can actually see. We help students do that work in public, and we help companies watch it happen.

20 → 500+ Members in 4 years at our founding chapter
+38% Higher starting salary for active members1
50+ Student publications
10+ Direct sponsor hires per cycle
“We’ve hired more quality candidates through Innovation Labs than any career fair we’ve attended. They are now the majority of our 50-person AI team.”
Applied AI Director, Direct Supply
How it works

Industry needs talent. Students want to build.
We connect the two.

Every chapter runs the same loop. Each step feeds the next, and the loop is the product.

01

Speaker Event

Engineers from industry show what they’re actually building, and which skills actually matter.

02

Mentored Project

Experienced members lead new ones. Real problems, real data, a working solution in two months.

03

Sponsor Engagement

Companies watch students build for months. A better signal than any resume or career fair.

04

Everyone Benefits

Companies find AI talent. Students become AI leaders. Schools get real AI problems on campus.

What the network does

We built the system, so you don’t have to.

Every chapter gets all of this free. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and we do not take a cut of chapter funding.

Simplified funding

100% of every donation reaches the chapter and is tax-deductible. Officers get a real card, not a reimbursement form.

Event and org tools

Event signups, sponsor management, website deployment, outreach, membership tracking. One dashboard instead of six spreadsheets.

Proven playbooks

The practices that grew our founding chapter from 20 to 500+ members. Step by step, written by the people who did it.

Existing credibility

Our chapters have been sponsored by NVIDIA, Databricks, Direct Supply and others. A new chapter inherits that track record.

We built the ecosystem we wish we’d had when we started our AI club in 2019.

1. Class of 2025 active members, compared with non-member peers in the same computing majors at the same school.
